businesses.

Portrait of Cheah Bing Wen, software developer based in Singapore.

I build websites and apps for businesses here, usually alongside whoever is already on the project: a designer, a marketing lead, the person who holds the domain login.

01 / Selected work

Five projects, on screen.

Recorded from the live sites, the local builds and the terminal. Each one links to a write-up covering the constraint, what it cost, and what I would do differently.

PLAY Films

recorded from the live site
play-films-chi.vercel.app

A film studio's reel has to play full-bleed on a phone, on mobile data, without stuttering.

Built with the project's designer. Static hosting keeps the studio's bill under SGD $30 a month.

AtTalentFit

public pages only
attalentfit.com

A recruitment platform serving live traffic, delivered by a team. Other developers built against my interfaces.

Backend and platform work that is still running in production. The interior stays private; the public site is what you see here.

Slote

pre-release build
slote-website.vercel.app

Notes apps make you choose between typing and drawing. Slote puts pen and keyboard on one page.

One Flutter codebase running on four platforms. In development: not released yet, and the site says so.

Context Mesh

real cm output, replayed
~/Code/ContextMesh

Coding agents burn most of their tokens just finding the right file before they can start work.

A code index that answers where, what and who from the terminal. Private tooling I use on every project, including this site.

Trawl

sample rows, local build
localhost · internal build

Finding SME leads by hand meant reading the same review pages over and over.

An internal tool that reads the signals for me. Private, and built for my own outreach only.

02 / What I build

Three kinds of work.

Sometimes the honest answer is the cheaper one: a website instead of an app, or an off-the-shelf tool instead of a custom build. You get that answer on the first call, not after the invoice.

Tell me what is broken.

A thirty-minute call, a written scope with a fixed price, and an honest answer about whether I am the right person for the job. No proposal decks, no follow-up sequence.
