The short version
Most business websites fail in one of two boring ways. They take six seconds to load on mobile data, so people leave before they see anything. Or they were built on a platform nobody at the company can edit, so the content freezes in place the day the agency invoice is paid.
I build sites that avoid both. Static pages served from a CDN, which is why they are fast. Content structured so you can change it without opening a support ticket. And a hosting setup that costs tens of dollars a month.

You get a live preview link early and it updates as I go. You give feedback on real pages, not mockups.

Common questions
01How much does a website cost?
It depends on how many pages there are and whether anything needs to be custom-built. I quote a fixed price after a scoping call, so there is no hourly meter running and the number you approve is the number you pay. Small business sites sit at the lower end; anything with logins, payments or a database costs more because it is more work.
02How long does it take?
A straightforward business site is typically two to four weeks from approved scope to live. The variable is usually not the build; it is how quickly copy, photos and logins come back from your side. I will tell you upfront what I need from you and when.
03Do I own the website when it is finished?
Yes, completely. The domain, the hosting account, the code repository and any third-party services are all set up in your name or transferred to you at handover. You are never in a position where you have to keep paying me to keep your own site online.
04What does it cost to run each month?
For a typical business site, usually under SGD $30 a month, and sometimes under $10. Static hosting is inexpensive at small scale. If your site needs a database or heavy video, I will tell you the running cost before you commit.
05We already have a designer. Can you work with them?
Yes, and the site is usually better for it. That is the arrangement on the PLAY Films project: the designer owns the visual calls, I build to them and flag early where a layout will fight the browser or cost a second of load time. Figma files, a PDF, or screenshots of what you like all work as a starting point. If you do not have a designer, I handle that side too.
06Who talks to our current host or domain registrar?
I do, if you would rather not. Domains and DNS are where small projects stall, usually because the login belongs to someone who left three years ago. Give me the access or put me on the email thread and I will chase it. You stay the account holder throughout.
07Can you update my existing site instead of rebuilding it?
Sometimes, and I will say so honestly if that is the cheaper answer. If the existing site is on a platform that is fundamentally slow or unmaintainable, patching it is money spent twice. I would rather lose the bigger project than sell you a rebuild you did not need.
